Located approximately seven miles south of New Smyrna Beach, Florida on State Road A1ACanaveral National Seashore invites the public to join one of the many ranger led programs offered in the upcoming weeks. All programs are subject to the availability of a ranger. Programs cancelled fifteen minutes after the start time if no public is present. Children between the ages of 6 through 12 attending park programs may have the opportunity to become Junior Rangers. Bring water and sunscreen. Learn more about us from the web site.

PONTOON BOAT CRUISE:
Take a journey with a National Park Ranger on a visit to the colorful places that lend character to this vital estuary. Our pontoon boat Tortuga del Sol is lead by licensed captains and experienced mates. On this tour the captain will provide you with a memorable and safe park water tour. Bring sunscreen and water. Join us for a two-hour journey as we cruise from the Visitor Center on most weekends, weather permitting. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED and SPACE IS LIMITED. A cost recovery fee of $20.00 per person is charged for all passengers. Senior pass and Access pass holders receive 50 % off. Call (386) 428-3384 ext. 10 to reserve space.

Reservations will begin a week before the canoe date. Join a guide as you explore this rich and diverse estuary up close. Some experience is preferred. You must be at least 8 years old and able to paddle. You must wear covered shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or crocs). Bring water, sunscreen and a hat. Dress to get wet. Individuals with their own kayaks or canoes are welcome to join in. Call (386) 428-3384 ext.10 to reserve your spot.

Learn tips and techniques to help you with this fun pastime. Feel free to bring your own cast nets; we can provide some. Hat, sunscreen and water recommended.

Learn how to collect this delicious bivalve from the waters of Mosquito Lagoon. Learn tips, techniques and recipes along with the Florida bag and size limits. Must wear covered shoes (no sandals or flip flops).

Join a park ranger to learn about the nesting sea turtles of Canaveral National Seashore. Discuss the results of last season and what is expected of the upcoming nesting season.
Meet at the Pavilion. (1 hour)Saturday, 27th -- 10:00 AM - "A CRABBING WE WILL GO"
Learn about the elusive and delicious blue crab. Try some trapping techniques and get some recipe ideas.
