WE ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN APRIL 2005 TO PROMOTE AND FACILITATE PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL STRUCTURES AND SITES IN BREVARD COUNTY

MISSION STATEMENT

We promote alternatives to demolition when structures or sites are threatened with loss, due to neglect and deterioration or new site development. By providing an alternative use, the Foundation promotes increased public awareness and collaborates with other public and non-profit organizations engaged in programs to save, restore and preserve historically significant structures or sites in Brevard County.
  • Preservation of Brevard County history, historic buildings and sites.
  • Promote education & public awareness of Brevard County history, heritage and diverse cultures through photography, documentation, oral histories, exhibits/displays, presentations and publications.
  • Interaction and networking with related interest organizations to promote folk life through exhibits and presentations representing Brevard County and Florida History.
  • Community involvement, volunteer support and in-kind services.
  • Funding support by corporate, business and private sector sponsorships, public and private donations, grants & membership.
  • Promotion of Eco/Heritage Tourism in Brevard County.
