The East Mims Progressive Civic League Community Events 40th Annual Easter Parade East Mims will be the site for the 40th Annual Easter Parade being held on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at 4 p.m. He Arose is the theme for this event started by Ms. Corine Saunders forty years ago. The parade has grown into one of the "things to do" during the Easter season. Registration for space in the parade or as a vendor is being accepted at Cuyler Park, 2329 Harry T, Moore Avenue or Harry T. & Harriette V. Moore Memorial Park, 2180 Freedom Avenue, Mims. Vendor spaces are $25 each and there is no fee for parade participation. Vendor spaces are first come first served for this outdoor event located at Cuyler Park. Vendors may provide their own canopy.
