INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP AT
Canaveral National Seashore invites you to help clean up the seashore. On September 15th, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. we will participate in the International Coastal Cleanup. The park entrance fee will be waived during the program for all participants. Last year over 80 people participated and 1600 pounds of trash were removed from the beach and lagoon shores.
CANAVERAL NATIONAL SEASHORE (APOLLO DISTRICT)Bring gloves and sunscreen. Trash bags and water will be provided, please bring your own reusable water bottle to cut down on trash. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 people to sign in. There will also be hot dogs and drinks provided from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Meet at the Visitor Center in the North District, 7611 South Atlantic Avenue New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169, to sign in. This is your chance to pitch in and make a difference at your National Park.
