SEMINOLE REST CONSTRUCTION
Shoreline Construction Company is tentatively scheduled to begin installing pilings for the new dock located near the Seminole Rest Caretaker house on September 14, 2009. Park staff will remove a section of the walkway by the Caretaker House for contractor equipment access. The contractor will also install orange safety fencing around the dock area. There will be some trail use inconveniences to visitors, although the trails will not be closed entirely. After the piling installation is complete, there will be additional construction work to complete the dock. Construction and cleanup work may periodically restrict visitor access to areas of Seminole Rest. The estimated project completion date is
