2022 Camp Location Update

Camp Anderson (who took over Life for Youth Ranch) will be unable to host us this year. Glad we were able to have our 40th year camp there, but because of our low numbers, we lost money.

The plan for this year is to have a retreat at Park Ave Retreat Center. The price will go up and we will be there for 3 days and 2 nights (not 4 days and 3 nights). We will be limited on the number of people we can take at a time. We know this is the weekend of Special Olympics Bowl- ing Regional Games, but it is when the facility is available. In future years we hope to do more than one weekend but this year we will be doing Friday August 12- Sunday, August 14 with 50 people.

The good news is that it is a retreat. Each person will have their own double bed and only have to share a bathroom with one other person. This will be like staying in a hotel. The Activities will be impressive. Friday afternoon bowl- ing, Saturday morning swimming at the YMCA, arts and crafts, movies, and basketball. There will be a dance Satur- day night.

Sunday we will go to Fun Spot. You will be able to ride all the rides (except the Sky Coaster). Many of the rides have a larger and smaller version (in case the larger version is too much for you). You will receive an unlimited drink cup, pizza lunch and a $25 card for whatever you want (arcades, food, T-Shirt).
