    HISTORY

    • Kiwanis was founded in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1915.
    • The Kiwanis Club of Titusville was officially chartered by Kiwanis International on September 25, 1923 and is the oldest club in Brevard County.

    KIWANIS FOUNDATIONS

    • A Foundation is the legal vehicle that is tax exempt and tax deductible. Every Kiwanian is a member of these foundations:
    • The International Foundation creates and produces Kiwanis programs such as Young Children: Priority One, Anti-Drug Programs, Educational Programs, and the Worldwide Service Project addressing the elimination of Iodine Deficiency Disease
    • The Florida District Foundation supports programs on a statewide level.


    KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION
