Hello Volunteers,
We had a number of dedicated and hard working volunteers assist with events. On SL3, we watered our newly added native plants, re-opened a tidal channel that silted in and planted mangroves along the islands inner wetland. Some pictures are included below. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event! In January we will be heading to BC47, an island that underwent volunteer exotic removal and replanting last season. Details of the event are listed below. The cold months also mark the beginning of nesting season for several bird species on spoil islands.
