BOATING SAFELY PROGRAM
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 4-9 is offering their BOATING SAFELY program to the general public from 8:00 AM to 5:PM at the Upland Building in Sandpoint Park in Titusville.
Date will be determined by number of inquires. This one day program meets the requirements of the National Association of State Boating Administrators and may allow insurance discounts. The session covers a wide variety of subjects including; selecting your boat, safety equipment, boat handling, Aids to navigation and rules of the waterways. The presentation utilizes the most current computer techniques. This program will also include topics on Homeland Security, Carbon Monoxide Intoxication, Hypothermia, Non Native Nuisance Species.
The Program is free; there is a fee of $30 for materials and lunch. Anyone that has a boat and would like to have it inspected can bring them at this time and we will have inspectors there to check them free of charge.

FREE VESSEL SAFETY CHECK
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 4-9 holds a Free Vessel Check for the general public from Noon to 3:00pm at Parrish Park the last Saturday of each month.
The inspection covers State & Federal Requirements. If your boat meets all requirements you will be issued a very impressive Vessel Safety Check Sticker.
