'RELAY FOR LIFE'

What is Relay?
This memorable event is your chance to show your support in the fight against cancer.
Across the country and around the world, families and friends, survivors and caregivers alike join together to raise funds for cancer research, and honor those whose lives have been touched by cancer somehow.
Join us at the Titusville Relay For Life to be a part of this movement! "Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path.
Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length. Relayers do not have to walk all night, but each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event."
Registration for this event continues through to the event, but campsite choices are on a first registration, first choice basis.

Monthly committee and team meetings will be held the second Wednesday of every month at the Great Outdoors so the dates would be as followes: Sept 14, Oct. 5, Nov. 9, Dec. 7, Jan. 4, Feb. 15, March 7, April 4 (some of the dates had to be moved up or back due to conflicting schedules with the facility)
The Relay For Life Kickoff Event will be occurring on October 19th at Pumperknickel's Fest Haus from 6-8 pm. I'm planning on the theme to be "wear your favorite college sports team attire." It is open and free to everyone in the community.
The actual Relay For Life Event will either be taking place Saturday & Sunday, April 28-29th at Titusville High School.
