Update on "SPARKLES"
Your Donations Saved Sparkles! After she had her surgery on the bone spurs and healing time she has become a fat and happy Florida Panther in captivity. Sparkles and her brother Jr. run, jump and chase each other in their big turnout area. We can tell by her reactions that she is content.

Sparkles represents one of the most endangered large cats in the entire world, The Florida Panther.Sparkles and her brother Junior arrived at Jungle Adventures when they were 3 weeks old. They were bottle fed by trained staff. When they were old enough they were declawed.
I began working and training with Sparkles when she was approx. 7 months old. She is now 2 1/2 years old, very well trained, and responds extremely well. Sparkles is a very wonderful educational animal, and is also great with the public. There is a lot of hands on with Sparkles when we do our Jungle Mobile show, which is where we travel to different locations and present a wonderful educational presentation. Sadly, Sparkles is one of the unfortunate large cats to have problems with being declawed. She needs to have surgery on her feet, to remove bone spurs that cause much pain when she walks.
Therefore we are trying to get the word out that Sparkles needs our help right now. We need to raise the money to pay for her surgeries, which is estimated to cost up to $4,000.00. Every penny counts, and will go toward a wonderful cause "Helping Sparkles" to be able to walk pain free once again!
