The Central Florida YMCA Mission Statement:The purpose of this Association is to improve lives of all in Central Florida by connecting individuals, families and communities with opportunities based on Christian values that strengthen the Spirit, Mind and Body.
Programs & ServicesSummer Day Camp:Every one-week summer day camp session is jam-packed with tons of fun stuff kids love to do. Each week will have a theme which activities will be bases upon. There will be field trips, games, swimming and more.Summer Aquatics:
Central Florida YMCAs offer progressive swimming opportunities for youth and adults. In YMCA aquatics programs, children learn to be safe around water and they feel the sense of accomplishment that comes with learning something new. The Central Florida YMCA aquatics programs include drowning prevention, infant-parent classes, preschool classes, classes for people with disabilities and classes for teens and adults. These include water exercise and therapy and water sports, including synchronized swimming and master competitive swimming for people 18 and over. Competitive programs are also available for youth.
Youth Sports:A mainstay of Central Florida YMCA offerings for young people, Y youth sports programs teach kids teamwork, cooperation and good sportsmanship. Youth sports include basketball and volleyball, baseball, softball, T-ball, soccer and progressive gymnastics. Other sports offerings range from traditional sports like tennis and football to such newer inventions as in-line roller-skate hockey and Wally-ball.
Sports Camps:Aaron Walker football camp- Join the current tight-end for the San Francisco 49ers for a week of fun learning football fundamentals.Seniors:YMCAs are for people of all ages, abilities and incomes. We count older adults as some of our most loyal members. At Central Florida YMCA Family Centers, older adults have a chance to keep active and grow in spirit, mind and body. New friends and new opportunities add joy to life, and the Y also gives seniors a chance to share their time and talents with others, such as children and teens.YMCA Sleep-Away Camp:Central Florida YMCA overnight camps provide kids fun while they learn how to make new friends, build new skills and grow in self-reliance. Our Y camps use a natural setting to teach youth about the wonders of the world around them and how they can take good care of it. Camps are set at newly renovated Camp Wewa. Some offer special sessions on academics, sports, arts, or teen adventure or leadership.TennisYMCA Racquetball & Tennis Center3050 Satterfield Road 321-269-3763
