Rita's work is inspired by Chagall's story-telling poetry painted in vibrant colors. Her work is a "Herald" through color. She speaks: Bless all (my) skills, O Lord and be pleased with the works of (my) hands; Deut 33:11
Rita attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has sold her works through the Herr Chambliss Gallery in Hot Springs, AR and the Stebbins Gallery in Clearlake, Texas.
Rita, her husband, Hal, and their cat Professor Higgins sailed and lived aboard the sailboat, "My Fair Lady" for eight years. A "suddenly" brought them ashore. They now live in Titusville.
