Registration for summer programs offered by Brevard County Parks and Recreation, North Area, is open now until May 23, registration is available Monday through Friday at the North Area Parks Operations Office, 475 North Williams Avenue in Titusville, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Port St. John Community Center, 6650 Corto Road in Port St. John, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. After May 24, registration will be held at the various program sites. Summer activities for children entering grades one through eight are available Monday through Friday starting May 24 and continuing through August 8. There are also specialized camps and programs for ages ranging from kindergarten to grade nine, and aquatic programs for all ages.
Registration for morning and evening swim lessons and the swim team is available now through May 26 at the North Area Parks Operations Office, Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Starting May 30, aquatic registrations will be held at Jackson Pool, 1515 Knox McRae Drive, and Madison Pool, 3375 Dairy Road, both in Titusville, during open swim hours. Open swim hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends and holidays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The summer brochure has been distributed to North Area elementary school students and is also available at middle school offices, community centers, Manatee Hammock, Fox Lake Park, the North Area office at 475 North Williams Avenue in Titusville, District 1 Commission Office, Titusville City Hall, Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the North Brevard, Mims/Scottsmoor, and Port St. John Libraries.
