April 20-28, 2013Each year the National Park Service sets aside a week to showcase our 401 incredible national treasures. This is a great time to visit your national parks for the first time or for a revisit to your favorite. There are special programs throughout the week and admission to all national parks is free from April 22-26.

- Canaveral National Seashore provides habitat to 14 federally-listed threatened and endangered species-ranking it second in the entire National Park Service.
- There are over 200 documented archaeological sites within the seashore's boundary, the oldest dating back to 800 AD.
- Each year over 5000 sea turtle nests are recorded on the beaches within Canaveral National Seashore
