EXOTIC PLANT REMOVAL
New Smyrna Beach, Florida. - Canaveral National Seashore will be treating Brazilian Pepper on Shipyard Island in north Mosquito Lagoon near the Apollo Beach area. Work will begin Monday, January 31, 2011 and continue for the next 6 to 8 weeks. The work will entail the use of an airboat to reach areas that are difficult to access.Exotic plants are one of the greatest threats to Florida's natural ecosystems.
