National Parks Week and National Junior Ranger Day
Canaveral National Seashore would like to invite you to "Celebrate Your National Park" during the annual National Parks Week April 20-26. Come and enjoy the resources of the seashore for recreation and fitness, we have a full array of programs geared to all ages with something for everyone. As part of National Parks Week the Seashore is "fee free" from April 17 to April 25.
April 17-25On April 24, starting at 10:00 am, we will have a day in the North Area, Apollo District, devoted to Junior Ranger programs, geared toward ages 6-12, but all ages are welcome. There will be programs scheduled throughout the day so that three may be attended to earn the Junior Ranger patch and certificate. We invite you to come early and stay for the certificate ceremony at 2:00 pm. We will also have a hotdog cookout or you are encouraged to bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy.
