Canaveral National Seashore will be treating Brazilian Pepper along the eastern shoreline of Mosquito Lagoon from Playalinda Beach to Parking Lot #5 in Apollo Beach. Work will begin Monday, December 1, 2008 and continue for the next 6 to 8 weeks. The work will entail the use of an airboat to reach areas that are difficult to access by land.Exotic plants are one of the greatest threats to Florida's natural ecosystems.
