BOARDWALK RECONSTRUCTION CLOSES TURTLE MOUND BEGINNING IN DECEMBER
Canaveral National Seashore announced today that scheduled boardwalk reconstruction will require the temporary closures of Turtle Mound Archeological site starting in December. Work is scheduled to begin at Turtle Mound in the north district during the week of December 27th and continue into the month of April. This reconstruction project is a planned element of the boardwalk 10-year maintenance cycle program.We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, and ask your cooperation and compliance with closure restrictions as a matter of public safety.
