CANAVERAL NATIONAL SEASHORE AT PLAYALINDA BEACH DIRECTED TO CLOSE FOR SHUTTLE LANDING
Contact: Eric Lugo at (321) 267-1110In compliance with instructions from NASA, Canaveral National Seashore at Playalinda Beach in Brevard county will close at 6:00 pm on September 20, 2006 in preparation for the shuttle landing, which is planned for Thursday morning. The landing may be postponed until Friday if landing conditions on Thursday are not favorable.
Playalinda Beach will remain closed until approximately 5 hours after shuttle touchdown.
