The Statehouse is the best remaining example of earlier life along Mosquito Lagoon. The residence has been rehabilitated and now holds photos and artifacts that tell the story of the town of Eldora and the people who lived there.
Two videos give a brief history of both the home and the town and are available upon request.
The Eldora Statehouse lies within Canaveral National Seashore's Apollo beach district. From I-95 or US-1, take SR-44 east to New Smyrna Beach, then A1A (Atlantic Avenue) south about seven miles to the park entrance. The home is at parking area #8 on the Eldora Loop Road within the park. Times and days are subject to change.
