Community Clean Up
We need available carpenters and handy men because we will be doing repairs on building. We are going to clean up around the outside of the museum to get ready to paint. Willing Workers Needed.

February 2012 — Guild Card Party and Luncheon at the Veteran's Memorial Museum Date and Time TBA

March 1, 2012 — Guest Speaker 10:00 a.m. Free "Harry T. Moore - First Civil Rights Activist of the Modern Civil Rights Movement" presented by Juanita Barton, Director of Harry T.& Harriet V. Moore Cultural Complex, Inc.

March 3
Meet the New Executive Director, Nancy Rader.
We are also having a yard sale at the same time and the public can bring their own table and pay $20.00. The museum will be free on this day. Everything in museum store 1/2 off.

March 8, 2012 — CWRT (Civil War Round Table) 7:30 p.m.

April 5, 2012 — Guest Speaker 10:00 a.m. Free. "Islam in America," presented by Marshall Frank - Author; Florida Today Contributor, retired Captain, Miami-Dade PD.

April 12, 2012 — CWRT (Civil War Round Table) 7:30 p.m.

May 3, 2012 — Guest Speaker 10:00 a.m. Free "Native American Dances - Ritual and Meaning." A narration by Professor Bill Prentiss about the origin and significance of authentic Cherokee Native American Dance as demonstrated by the Talako Indian Dancers of Orlando. Last lecture at the museum for the season so don't miss it!

May 10, 2012 — CWRT (Civil War Round Table) 7:30 p.m.

June 14, 2012 — CWRT (Civil War Round Table) 7:30 p.m.

*All lectures are Free and open to the public. If you wish to tour the museum after the lecture please check in at the front desk and receive $1.00 off general admission price.
