Our "Florida Fallen Heroes" project began in the spring of 2005. We have been contacting quilting guilds, quilters, and fabric stores throughout Florida. With their overwhelming response of donations and materials, we continue to be motivated and enthused. Each of our quilts will have 30 squares, with the names of the military members who have perished.

Through the media and word of mouth, we have been able to spread the word. Each day we receive a call, or an e-mail about our project. Our effort will be ongoing. This has truly been a labor of love for all of us, knowing we are able to honor our military members in such a loving and creative way.
