Julie's Biography I have had the loving companionship of dogs throughout my life. I have a passion for all dogs, large and small, with a soft spot for rescues. Everyone in life always told me I should be a veterinarian but as time went on I knew that was not for me as I cannot stand to see suffering animals in pain. One day after being laid off I was watching the television show Animal Planet. A severely matted rescue dog was featured and after being checked out by veterinarian, a groomer went to work. It took the groomer over 8 hours to completely strip the dog and the removed mat weighed 1/3 of the dogs total body weight, the whole process bringing comfort to the dog. That's when a light bulb went on. I realized I could have a career as a dog groomer, satisfying my passion for being with dogs without the pain and suffering. One day while attending dog grooming school I had three dogs poop in their cages and had to re-wash them, one of them peed on me and another one bit me. At the end of the day I was still smiling and loving what I was doing. That's how you know you are in the right profession. I earned my degree at the Florida Institute of Animal Arts graduating the 900 hr. Professional Pet Styling Program for grooming all breeds of dogs. I am a lifelong Titusville resident having three dogs and a horse. While in my care, your dog will be professionally groomed and will be treated with the same love and affection my own animals receive.
