The advantage of this format are that: - The whole article is in one place (no "continued ..").
- Some people find it more difficult to read a wide column.
- There is a story index at the top of the page.
- You can use the arrows to access the story index at the top of the page. This makes it quite easy to go from story to story.
- You can scroll down, reading each story as you come to it.
- Pictures will be with each story that has one.

This is the traditional format. It's advantages are: - All stories start near the top of the web page.
- Nearly all pictures are near the top of the web page.
- Arrows take you back to the top of the webpage.
- It is easier to read a narrow column.
