Making Dreams Come True!!!

What an honor for Dance Theater Performing Arts! Walt Disney World contacted us asking for our Junior Performing Team Artistic Director, Courtney Scherer, to help with the Dedication/Christening of their new cruise ship Disney Dream.

Dance Theater invited another studio in Merritt Island, Evolution, to join us on this extraordinary opportunity. After 4 days of rehearsing with WDW, these amazing students made up of 16 Princes and Princesses, and 20 Hip-Hop Kids performed in the largest production Walt Disney World has put on in over 10 years!

Once again, DTPA's hard work and commitment to dance has been recognized by leaders in the field. They performed alongside celebrities and WDW casts in this production, which was nationally televised and internationally web-cast! WAY TO GO!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Gabby Nicolosi, Michelle Hall, Cassidy Morancie, Courtney Scherer, Erik Silky Moore, Corey Scherer, Lia Lopez-Siegel, Mikaela Greenhalgh, and Annalisa DiBernardo!!! They are now listed with The Guinness World Records as breaking the record of most dancers on pointe!
